When you come in for your Plasma Skin Tightening session, we’ll start by applying a topical numbing cream to the area we’re treating. This is all about making sure you’re as comfortable as possible. You might feel a bit of a tingle each time we create a plasma arc spot – it’s a strange sensation, but most people find it totally manageable. These tiny spots we make? They’re actually doing the heavy lifting by tightening the skin right where it’s needed. The whole thing is pretty quick, taking anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on what area we’re working on.
- Before your session, steer clear of any treatments or products that might irritate your skin. We want it in the best possible shape for the treatment.
- Aftercare is all about keeping the treated area clean and protected. Avoid makeup and direct sunlight for at least the first week. And seriously, SPF is your best friend – make sure you’re using a good sunscreen every day to keep your new skin looking its best.
After Your Treatment:
Right after the treatment, it’s normal to see a bit of redness and maybe some swelling, but don’t worry – this usually eases off within the first 48 hours. You’ll notice tiny plasma scabs where we made those arcs, which is a good sign things are healing up. These scabs typically drop off after about a week. And here’s the exciting part: over the next few weeks and months, you’ll see the results get even better as your skin ramps up its collagen production, making for a naturally rejuvenated look.
