LED Light Therapy and Mask

What Is LED Light Therapy?

LED Light Therapy is a non-invasive, pain-free treatment that caters to a variety of skin types and conditions using light-emitting diodes (LEDs).

This innovative therapy harnesses different wavelengths of light in red, blue, green, and yellow to target specific skin functions. By stimulating enzymatic reactions and boosting cellular ATP, LED Light Therapy promotes healthy cell function and metabolism, enhancing skin health from within.

It’s a versatile treatment that can rejuvenate skin, combat acne, reduce pigmentation, and soothe inflammation, making it a comprehensive solution for skin care.

LED therapy and Hyaluronic Acid mask

The Hyaluronic Acid mask, also known as the HA mask is a moisture enhancing gel masque containing high levels of Hyaluronic Acid. This mimics the body’s natural hydrator, adds moisture to the skin, enhances forward thinking formulations of other products and helps relive skin from irritation.

The HA mask is applied before the LED light therapy, when applied the mask contours to the face, locking in moisture and hydration.

The HA mask is placed on the skin for a total of 15 minutes including LED.

Pre + Post Treatment Care

LED Light Therapy is a relaxing, pain-free experience that rejuvenates your skin without any downtime. During the session, you’ll wear protective goggles to shield your eyes from the bright light, similar to basking in gentle sunlight. Each treatment lasts between 15 to 20 minutes, during which you may feel a comforting warmth as the LED light works on your skin.

  • Cleanse Your Skin: Ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup, moisturisers, or sunscreens before your appointment.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Minimise sun exposure for a few days prior to your treatment to prevent any potential sensitivity.
  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before your session to help enhance the treatment’s effects.
  • No Downtime Required: You can immediately return to your daily activities post-treatment.
  • Sun Protection: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to protect your treated skin from UV damage.
  • Moisturise: Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser suited to your skin type.
  • Avoid Harsh Products: For a few days post-treatment, steer clear of using products with retinol, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), or anything that might irritate your skin.
